Indifferent - ralph
Q. Talk about it! I feel indifferent when / because:
I just don't seem to care about what matters to others. I feel I should be more compassionate or understanding towards certain issues but with everything that's going on all the time I find it hard.
Q. Should you be interested or concerned and who else does it make a difference to?
I don't know if I should care, I mean what can I do about all of it anyway. Plus I'm pretty busy with my own stuff to be going off to try and help others.
Q. Indifference is interesting (and revealing) because it tells you that you're not interested in something and that tells you a lot. What would you rather be doing or investing your time in?
I would just like to focus on my stuff and not feel likde have to keep up on everything so that I can be appalled at what's happening in other parts of the world or to the environment.
Q. How does indifference make you feel? For example, bored, powerless, obligated etc.
Yes it makes me feel powerless because I would help if I could but I think the best thing I can do is to be happy with my life and then do what i can.
Q. Is there a way in your present situation that you can feel something more desirable than 'indifferent'? What is that emotion? Look it up. What are some of the things you can do in order to change where you're at?
I guess I can feel responsible for my own life and do what I can in my own surroundings and maybe that will help the bigger picture.
