People often talk about being in a perfect relationship, marriage, friendship, past relationships, jealousy in relationships, long distance relationships, symbiotic relationships, relationships in the workplace, even abusive relationships and so on. It is a lot to talk about.

A relationship can be defined in many ways including, but not limited to, one that is a strong, deep, or close association/acquaintance between two or more people that may range in duration from brief encounter to an enduring long term relationship. This association may be based on inference, love, solidarity, regular business interactions, or some other type of social commitment. Interpersonal relationships can be formed in the context of a social, cultural or other influencing factors. The context can vary from family or kinship relations, friendship, marriage, relations with associates, work, clubs, neighborhoods, and places of worship. They may be regulated by law, custom, or mutual agreement, and are the basis of social groups and society as a whole.
